SCAD Freshman Year 2024

CoverGirl Commercial 

During the Fall quarter of my freshman year in 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in my first SCADpro project, collaborating with CoverGirl to create a commercial. As the Production Manager on set, I worked closely with my class and the production design team to bring the vision to life. While the commercial is set to release in 2026, and I’m unable to share further details due to an NDA, this experience gave me invaluable hands-on industry experience and a deeper understanding of professional production workflows.

Depop Mock Campaign 

SCAD Sophmore Year 2025

I was given an idea, "we should make a commercial," so that's exactly what I did. I was the producer and Assistant director on a mock campaign. I decided Depop would be a great company to make a fun commercial. I reached out to Depop and secured a meeting to present our idea. We successfully fundraised for the film and booked an empty warehouse to film in. The director also wanted a specific song by the artist UG Vavy, so I was able to contact him and obtain permission for us to use his song. We are currently still in the process of selling, so I cannot say too much on the matter, but it was a super fun and exciting shoot where I learned valuable business and marketing skills.

Piece of Skit Senior Thesis 

SCAD Junior Year 2025

I served as the Producer for this film, where I secured three local sponsors, saving the production around $1,000. I worked closely with the director to lock down locations and helped organize the production design for filming on the XR stage. I also arranged for 33 free pizzas to feed our student crew, which saved us $330. Additionally, I secured a sponsorship from a thrift store that provided us with a desk, props, and a costume at no cost. This project allowed me to build strong relationships with local businesses in Savannah while gaining hands-on experience in outreach and networking.

Writhe 

SCAD Sophomore Year 2024

I served as the Assistant Director for the set of Writhe, directed by Riley Sams. This project was especially unique—a vibrant, '80s-style slasher film featuring intense SFX makeup and thrilling stunt work. My role involved coordinating schedules around location availability, as well as ensuring seamless collaboration with the stunt coordinator and SFX artist. It was an incredibly fun and exciting experience, bringing a nostalgic horror vision to life.

Redneck Christmas

SCAD Sophomore Year 2025

I served as the Assistant Director on the set of Redneck Christmas, where I was responsible for coordinating key production elements, including lighting and special effects. On the final day of shooting, I ensured that all remaining scenes were captured efficiently within a tight schedule, maintaining both quality and momentum on set.

Desde Cero Music Video 

SCAD Sophomore Year 2024

I worked as the Second Assistant Director on this set, where I was responsible for directing extras and assisting the First Assistant Director. This music video was an incredible experience, especially since we had the opportunity to utilize most of the SCAD backlot. It was exciting to collaborate with and learn from my upperclassmen while seeing their creativity in action.

Don't Know Music Video 

SCAD Sophomore Year 2024

I was the Assistant Director for the Don't Know music video, written and performed by Reese Sherrill, directed by Mat Barry and Luke Geraci, and produced by Luke Geraci. Working on a music video was an incredibly fun and dynamic experience. Each day required multiple setups, which I meticulously scheduled, along with coordinating extensive lighting and prop changes, as well as managing vehicle logistics.

The shoot ran smoothly, and one of the highlights was filming during the SCAD blackout, which allowed us to utilize a variety of locations without the usual permitting challenges. It was an amazing opportunity to work with such a creative team and bring the vision to life with seamless execution. The video was recently featured on HMVAs Watchlist hot picks of 2025.

Senior Fashion Collection Film 

SCAD Sophmore Year 2025

This was my first experience working on a fashion film, and I was brought on as the Assistant Director less than 24 hours before the shoot. Despite the tight timeline and limited information going in, I took the initiative to quickly familiarize myself with the project and ensure we stayed organized and on schedule. The shoot took place on a farm 40 minutes away, which added logistical challenges—especially coordinating closely with the on-set animal handler and carving out time for both video and photo coverage.

To prepare, I stayed up late crafting a detailed shot list to help guide the day efficiently. Through clear communication, quick thinking, and flexibility, we were able to overcome the constraints and capture stunning visuals that highlighted the fashion pieces beautifully.

Shego Music Video 

SCAD Sophmore Year 2024
This was my first time on a music video set, and I joined for the second day of shooting. The atmosphere was much looser than what I'm used to, which presented a challenge—but also a great opportunity to get creative. With so many moving parts, multiple cameras in play, and even cars to work around, the dynamic energy kept things exciting. Since we were filming in a parking garage, we had to constantly adjust for traffic, adding another layer of unpredictability. Despite the challenges, it was an incredibly fun experience, and I loved being part of such a creative project!

An Escape 

SCAD Sophomore Year 2024

I was the Assistant Director for An Escape, written and directed by J.C. Burton. From day one, I had to carefully plan our schedule, as we were shooting outdoors and needed to align with the sun. The script required daytime, sunset, and nighttime shots, and thanks to strategic scheduling, we successfully captured everything in a single day.

We encountered a major challenge when our booked location was double-booked, limiting us to just one day instead of two. To adapt, I problem-solved on the fly, creating a mock set for day two to capture all necessary close-ups. For day three, we were initially facing a 12-hour shoot, but by collaborating with the director and director of photography, I helped streamline the shot list, allowing us to wrap ahead of schedule. Although the day was set to run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, I was able to get us wrapped by 4:30 PM—while there was still daylight—making for an efficient and well-executed shoot.

The Breakup 

SCAD Freshman Year 2024
Film 232 Class 
For my Film 232 class, we were given a script and tasked with bringing it to life on screen. While we had to preserve the original dialogue, we were free to change the tone and setting to make the story our own. I chose to set my film in a hospital waiting room, using the tense atmosphere to heighten the drama. Collaborating with an incredible team, I gained valuable insight into the power of lighting and its ability to enhance emotion in visual storytelling.
